Celebrating Seattle's Vibrant Voices

Hella black Hella Seattle is a hyper-local podcast that is created by and for people of color. Each episode will take a look at where to go for good eats; what is going on this weekend; and who in this city is creating the type of work that should be given so much more recognition than they receive. Hot takes for the sake of taking a hot take. Three friends, One microphone, and a whole lot of love for the town we all call home.

Where to Eat

Alaina shares her knowledge of black owned restaurants and eateries; local, hidden breakfast/brunch spots; as well as neighborhood staples that are worth your time on saturdays.

Where to Be

Jazz makes sure you stay on top of the latest Pop-up Events; block parties; art gallery nights; etc., which typically get lost in the mainstream event listing feeds.
